Anderson Active Shooter Response

Training in Charleston, SC

If an active shooter event occurred in Charleston,

would you be prepared?

Charleston, SC will never forget the mass shooting at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in 2015. Since then, other churches and religious establishments across the nation have been targeted and attacked, and while these acts of violence cannot be predicted, they can be planned for.

ProActive Response Group works hard to train individuals and organizations practical skills as well as an empowered mindset so that they are prepared to respond in an active shooter event.

Could you be your coworker’s first responder?

Workplace Violence Across Charleston

Encountering workplace violence is no longer a question of if it happens, but rather, when.

That’s why it’s so important for companies to provide their employees with active shooter response training. After all, to acknowledge the pending threat, but not give your team the tools they need to respond effectively is careless. Scenario-based, on-site training for corporations will not only teach employees to act as first responders in an emergency, but it will also empower them to survive.

Preventing Shootings in Charleston’s School System

Empowerment begins with training teachers.

Charleston may be a beach town and vacation destination, but it’s also a college town and full of families with school-aged children. Because school shootings have become commonplace, South Carolina public schools are required by law to hold two active shooter response training drills each year.

But drills alone are not enough. Teachers and staff must get hands-on training in active shooter response and emergency medical response so they are prepared to respond effectively in a crisis. Additionally, teachers must have basic lifesaving equipment in their classrooms. Bleeding Control Kits contain all of the tools necessary to stop severe bleeding and save lives.

Industrial Facilities on Charleston’s Coast

Manufacturing teams don’t need another safety manual. They need hands-on training.

Work-related injuries are much more likely for industrial teams than they are for office employees, and employers should take notice. Rather than hoping for the best and continuing with business as usual, take a proactive step and get your manufacturing team the emergency bleeding control training they need to respond and treat a life-threatening injury.

There’s no avoiding the fact that heavy industrial equipment is dangerous, and when accidents happen, a coworker’s trained medical response could mean the difference between life and death. In addition to providing training in bleed control, make sure that your facility also has Bleeding Control Kits onsite for emergency situations.

Church Security Assessments in Charleston, SC

Preparing for the worst is the only way to prevent the worst.

The sad truth is that religious establishments cannot afford to ignore the threat of mass shootings. Beginning with a safety assessment and on-site training, religious establishments can learn to recognize potential threats before they become a reality.

Perhaps more than any other city in South Carolina, Charleston does not consider safety to be an expectation in her churches. Safety has become a pursuit that church leaders are constantly evaluating and working toward.
